Mortgage Rates Trend Upward
Mortgage rates trended upward the last couple of weeks of December.
December started with close to record lows, but a combination of factors caused them to increase. Stronger than expected economic data, a stock rally had a negative impact on the mortgage market and finally the FED is winding down the MBS purchase program.
